erzsebetaSo for 12th Night I have given myself a bunch o' tasks. So any talk of out of control sewing hell is all my fault.
In the next 5 weeks I need or want to do the following:
Help Bryne make a fancy haube for her Cranach gown. I think this is still on.
Estimated time, one evening.
Make high-necked shirts for Conall and myself. Um, ok. How do these go together, exactly? I've never made one. Sounds silly coming from someone who wears late period stuff a lot but there you go.
Estimated time...?
Make a wams and big tie-on slashy sleeves for Conall to wear with his leather stuff. Thank you Ysa!!!!!!
Again, I've never made one of these. It shouldn't be too hard but even 'easy' things take me forever and a day.

Move the guarding on the skirt of my brocade gown (aka the dress from Hell, which is really my favorite dress). There is a train and after the demo I'm not all that fond of it. Much draggage through questionable things. Ick. I knew there was a reason I always hiked my skirts up.
Should take a whole day. I swear, it takes as long to pick apart cartridge pleats as to put them in.
Add a flashy pendant to my big gold chain so I can wear it without freaking anyone out. Yes, it is adorned, dammit.
15 minutes if I move *really* slow. Yay! Something easy.
Make a snazzy new underskirt. 'Cause the dress doesn't already weigh a ton so I have to add more layers. Obviously.
Ok, this goes into the last minute pile.
As do the gollar and hat.
Fix the wool and velveteen gollar. It looks lovely but is longer on one side and it drives me nuts.
Make a new pizza hat. The old one is fine but doesn't do it for me anymore.
